VIDEO: Full Review Of The Samsung Behold II For T-Mobile USA
We had recently brought you a post and a first look on the Samsung Behold II smartphone for T-Mobile USA. We now bring you a full review of the device.
Looks-wise
The Behold II is much like other Samsung touchscreen devices. It comes with a 3.2” capacitive touchscreen with an AMOLED display. The main controls below the screen are typical of an Android phone, but the special thing here is a button dedicated to Samsung’s 3D cube menu. The back cover of the Samsung Behold II is much like the Samsung Jet, smooth and fine, with a world map motif on it. The 5MP camera with autofocus is the main attraction with this phone.
Functions
The main problem with the Behold II smartphone is its reception, which may sometimes not be as strong as you’d like it to be. The speakerphone, though, seems to be good. The battery power is satisfactory enough too. The contacts app is different from the normal and offers easy, one-touch access to all call and contact functions. The profile system is good too. Support for messaging and IM is excellent. 3G data speeds could have been better, but the WiFi and Bluetooth support is good.
The Behold II has a fabulous 5MP camera, which is its best feature. Its lacks auto rotation of photos, though. The new music player app is good for organizing music. The audio quality is good too, so no complaints there.
User Interface
The TouchWiz 2.0 technology has been implemented to a certain extent on this phone. There are three home screen panels and this is really cool. But otherwise, the UI leaves a lot else to be desired. Of course, there are a lot of new improvements to the UI, but HTC is definitely far better at this touch thingy! The virtual QWERTY keyboard could have been designed for better use as well.

Conclusion
Though Samsung tried to tote the Behold II as the ultimate Android smartphone, it has ended up being just another decent device. Nothing very great out here. The display and the camera are easily the winners here. Check out the video below and tell us what you think.
