RUMOR: Vodafone Set To Reveal Linux-Based Samsung 360
September 11, 2009 | Posted by Priya Viswanathan There is a new rumor on the block right now. It is believed that Vodafone will very soon be announcing a yet-to-be-named 8MP Samsung camera smartphone, that some mobile phone pundits believed will be called 360. Weird name for a cell phone, huh?
Anyway, rumor has it that Vodafone will also launch its “Vodafone People” service, which helps users stay connected to several location-based social networking sites. Maybe this has something to do with Voda’s acquisition of Zyb, which, if true, will be good for you.
Not many more details for now, but we believe some announcement might be on for September 24. Well, we sure have our ears to the ground….
