OtterBox Comes Out With New Commuter Series
OtterBox, till now, has been famous for its two mobile phone case lines, the Impact Series and the better-known Defender Series, which comes with three layers to protect the user’s cell phone from scratches, water and impact damage. The Defender Series line is pretty bulky too, so makes it that much difficult to carry around.
Considering this aspect, OtterBox has now come out with its new line of protective mobile phone cases, the Commuter line. This thingy sports a hybrid style that allows to you take out and place back the outer shell as and when you need it.
This is great for you if you need to operate only occasionally in rugged conditions. The Commuter Series is a modification of the Defender series, which originally has a plastic core surrounded by rubber skin. The new line is inside-out, having the rubber skin on the inside surface.
The early phone models getting the Commuter line are the BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Storm, Nokia E71 and E63. This is available at $34.95. Check out the pic below.
